After his exit, fans thought the British actor might get a chance to fulfill his dream of becoming the 007 that he always wanted to be. However, that is yet to happen. Should he get it, get won’t be the only one that connects the James Bond franchise and DCU. There is one more person now, as James Gunn has offered this James Bond fame to be a part of his Superman: Legacy.
James Gunn is making headlines with his Superman: Legacy since the day he announced the film. The new DC bosses are giving the DC Universe a new direction and this upcoming Superman film is going to mark the beginning of DCU’s new era. When finally, the film has its Clark Kent and Lois Lane, there is one more surprising piece of news for fans, particularly that of James Bond fame, Daniel Craig. Apparently, the American director has offered Craig to play the supervillain Lex Luthor in his upcoming film, per Giant Freakin Robot.

While fans had their own speculations about the role of this iconic villain, the 56-year-old director has something totally different in his mind. Although the former James Bond has portrayed villainous characters before, it came as a surprise for fans to see his name on the DC board. However, if the 55-year-old actor decides to join the cast, it will mark his debut in the DC Universe.
Talking about debut, the new face of Superman, David Corenswet, is also going to make his debut in the DC Universe with his own view of the Kryptonian.
David Corenswet has a different take on Superman than Henry Cavill
In 2014, The Witcher star portrayed the Kryptonian hero in Zack Snyder’s film, Man of Steel. While the film had a little darker take, the new approach differs from the previous one. Even before Corenswet was chosen to play Clark Kent in Superman: Legacy, he had opened up about how he was looking at the DC hero. And his vision was optimistic and in a much more positive light.

While the 30-year-old Corenswet is fulfilling his dream of becoming Superman, the 40-year-old actor is still in the race of becoming 007. With the competition from the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Cavill is still yet to fulfill his dream of being the next James Bond.
