After Graham McTavish’s Season 1, This Netflix Actor Set to Join ‘House of the Dragon’ Following ‘Sex Education’ Run
House of the Dragon rapidly became a success, gaining the attention of viewers with each episode coming out. The performance of the actors impressed fans so much it racked a new core audience for itself. One of the famous faces that people loved watching was Graham McTavish. He played the role of Ser Harrold Westerling, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, under King Viserys I Targaryen.
From The Hobbit to Netflix’s The Witcher, he has remained an influential figure in the fantasy world all these years. Now another Netflix star is joining him on the popular show for the second installment.

The official page of Redanian Intelligence recently reported on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Claire Cogan has joined the House of the Dragon. It is not clear what role she will play in the highly anticipated season of the show. But considering her recent performances, fans can expect something great from the rising star. The actress has become a familiar face in the television circuit, especially for her role in Sex Education.
The teen drama is moving towards its end with the fourth and final season, which will be released on 21 September 2023. Following that, the Wild About Harry star is now getting bigger opportunities.
This news has come only days after the same page announced that Daniel Fathers joined the cast list. He will have a recurring role of Lord Humfrey Lefford in the second season.
What do fans need to know about season two of the prequel?

Production of season 2 is currently under and several photos from the set have given fans glimpses of the actors preparing for it. One of the behind-the-scenes photos showed a group of soldiers preparing for battle in a wooded area. Although the plot has not been revealed, the series has been working loosely off the book Fire & Blood.
Besides the Targaryens, the Hightowers, and the Velaryons the upcoming season is expected to depict the Starks as well. The returning cast includes Tom Glynn-Carney, Phia Saban, Ewan Mitchell, Harry Collett, Phoebe Campbell, and Bethany Antonia.
