When it is the beginning of your career, you always feel like doing everything you can to make a big name. In the process, you forget that there are people around us who care about us. Additionally, if you found a professional rival, it will just add to your pressure. Arnold Schwarzenegger once felt the same. The 75-year-old actor was once a rival with his now-friend, Sylvester Stallone, who is connected to the Yellowstone showrunner, with whom he wanted to work. 

Yellowstone is a neo-Western drama that the Commando actor is a huge fan of. During his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger talked about his personal and professional things. While talking about his projects, the interviewer asked him about his wish to work with Taylor Sheridan, the showrunner of Schwarzenegger’s favorite series.

Interestingly, his former rival, Stallone has already worked with Sheridan in Tulsa King. And now, the former governor of California expressed his wish to work with them as well. During his conversation, he admitted Sheridan was amazingly talented.

This sudden interest in working with Sheridan rose after Schwarzenegger underwent a change, a change that made him more appreciative of his rivals’ works.

After going through a lot of pain and struggles in his personal and professional life, the FUBAR star said life had made him humble. However, it also made him see other people’s performances more than he used to. He admitted that when he was at the beginning of his career, Schwarzenegger did not think about others’ performance. Because he had only one thing in mind: he had to be the best.

Nevertheless, as life humbled him, and he watched the work of Sheridan in Yellowstone and his work with his friend, Stallone, he expressed his wish to work with them as well. Removing the lenses of competition, Schwarzenegger could realize the beauty of others’ work. And thus, he would love to work with his past foes sometime.

Not to forget the fact the Rocky star and The Terminator star are currently close friends. Stallone even declared his Austrian buddy superior to him as well. So it suffices to say that regardless of their rivalry in the past, the two are now thick friends.
