Ever since Ryan Reynolds deemed himself successful as an actor, he has chanced in investing that success in other ventures such as Mint Mobile and Maximum Effort. Turns out, over the turn of the decade, the Vancouver native has also become an equally lucrative entrepreneur. And now he has embarked on the world of investors- and his taste is particularly in sports!

After Wrexham’s loud triumph, The Adam Project actor is reportedly eyeing to support his stakes in motor racing. Renaults, the parent company of Formula 1 revealed on Monday that the Wrexham partners are to purchase a 24% equity stake in Alpine Racing with Otro Capital and RedBird Capital Partners. Notably, this 200 million Euro or $218.10 million agreement will value the British racing company at about $900 million.

Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi also marked that they will reinvest the revenue generated from the investment in the team for the acceleration of their “Mountain Climber Plan, aimed at catching up with top teams in terms of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment,” via Dev Discourse.
