Johnny Depp to work with Tim Burton in his next

Fans saw the cute 90s couple in the 1990s Gothic romance, Edward Scissorhands. And if the persisting rumors have any truth in them, they might even see the ex-couple once again on big screens. As per Giant Freekin Robot, the City Of Lies actor will have a cameo in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2. This upcoming fantasy comedy also features two of Netflix’s known faces, Ryder and Jenna Ortega. It will be a sequel to the 1988 horror comedy film under the same name that received a satisfying critical response. 

Burton and the Oscar nominee worked together before in the 2016 fantasy adventure Alice Through the Looking Glass and the 2012 Dark Shadows. All three of the actors, Depp, Ryder, and Ortega, are popular for their roles in the horror fantasy genre. Therefore, it is safe to say that the ensemble will add their unique flair to the 2024 film. Even the filmmaker himself gave mixed signals when asked whether who would be directing Depp. Burton told Reuters last year that he would work with Depp “If the right thing was around.”

While fans are anticipating Ryder’s collaboration with her ex-partner, the release of her biggest project Stranger Things seems to be coming closer!

Ever since the show hit the small screens in 2016, it became a fan favorite, winning hearts with every season. The show not only won twelve Emmy awards but also gave the world the Gen-Z icon, Millie Bobby Brown. After the intriguing ending of the fourth season, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see the Hawkins gang battle with the antagonist, Vecna. A few days back, it seemed like fans might have to wait for another year to witness the conclusion of this fan-favorite series. However, the recent update from Stranger News left fans in a frenzy. 

After a prolonged delay owing to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the franchise updated fans with a video of a destroyed Scoops Ahoy and captioned it saying “IT’S COMING.” The video gave rise to numerous speculations from the fans, who wondered what the video meant. While some became restless after seeing the 10-second teaser, others started to build theories on what the final season could unfold. However, one thing is sure. Stranger Things season 5 is not too far away from the viewers.
