While it might have been a rough few years for the 55-year-old and the empire that he had built, the father of three took it upon himself to delve into the world of spirituality and religion to find peace with himself and learn to be a better person.

Now, two years after the infamous incident with Chris Rock, Smith has shared some rather insightful lessons that he learned about life.

In a recent episode of Complex's 360 with Speedy hosted by Speedy Morman, Will Smith was asked about his thoughts on the age-old question; what is "the meaning of life?" While the host had expected the 55-year-old to struggle to find the words to answer such a deep question, he had the perfect response. He stated, "That's a big one," before adding that the "concept of the meaning of life is your mind trying to fathom the unfathomable."

Although that was enough to leave Morman speechless, Smith did not stop there. After his explanation, the actor asked the host to sit with him in silence for 30 seconds while looking at him. When the 29-year-old could not be still in the quiet, the 55-year-old told him to see himself through the eyes of the King Richard star. The father of three agreed that it was not an easy thing to do. However, he claimed, "That's where you'll find the meaning of life."
