Arnold Schwarzenegger has been promoting his new book Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. The Terminator actor recently sat down with CBS Morning to talk about the same. During the conversation, the host Vladimir Duthiers pointed out that he has briefly mentioned his affair in the book. Since the book was all about his life lessons, the interviewer asked what he learned from that moment and how it could benefit readers.
In his response, the former bodybuilder instantly said “don’t screw up” which is the thing he has learned from his affair. He continued people can make mistakes sometimes, but it does not affect only one life but others surrounding them too. “Definitely in it particular case, the personal failure definitely affects my family,” explained the 76-year-old. So with the incident, the author wants people to not indulge in these kinds of things and think about their family before everything.
Though the actor touched on the topic, he never liked discussing it because it made him emotional and opened up all the wounds.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Netflix docuseries detailed his divorce from Maria Shriver and their counseling sessions. The former governor explained how his ex-wife got to know about Joseph. The actor added he had to tell her because it would become evident the older he got. So it became clear he could not hide it from his family, no matter how hard he tried to keep things secret. After this, the True Lies star went on to say talking about that difficult phase brings back all the pain.
According to him, he caused much pain to his family because he “f— d up” and everyone had to suffer with him. “Maria had to suffer. The kids had to suffer. Joseph. His mother.
