With DC trusting its future in the hands of James Gunn after tasting dust for the past few years with one failed attempt after another and Marvel only being graciously saved by Deadpool & Wolverine, Sony to believe that its rendition of Marvel's anti-hero character was going to hit the ball out of the park was definitely admirable. However, Aaron Taylor Johnson's Kraven the Hunter, although managed to hit the ball out of the park, has hit it right into a glass window as it gets comfortable on the modern comic books that failed to make even $100 million worldwide.
Comic-based movies, even in their worst shape, have always been a ringer amongst the audiences as they cater to an already built fanbase. While it did not make much in terms of money, it did earn a couple thousand reviews stating just how lackluster the movie was.

Whether Kraven the Hunter will meet the same fate is still unknown; fortunately, fans have bigger dreams for Aaron Taylor Johnson.
