Matthew Perry often opened up about improvising his lines on the sets while filming the show. However, this time it was the writers who did that. Do you remember the 8th episode of season 5, “The One with All the Thanksgivings”? It showcases the flashbacks of the lives of the characters. In the episode, Monica accidentally drops a knife on Chandler’s leg, which makes him lose the tip of his toe.

That very incident replicates the real-life incident that occurred in the actor’s life. However, Perry has never watched himself on the show. But fans would surely love to know what he thinks about this specific episode.
