Earlier this month, Meghan Markle found herself at the center of a fresh batch of controversy over her alleged workplace behavior. The infamous claims of mistreating her staff, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, also earned her some evil nicknames like "dictator duchess" and "dictator in high heels". However, as the accusations piled up, so did the defenses from her current and ex-staff members, who pushed back hard on the claims in the explosive report. Recently, another ally jumped to Meghan Markle's defense amid the backlash.

A former employee of Meghan Markle shared a touching story involving Princess Lilibet to bring out the Duchess' compassionate side.

Former Archewell COO, Mandana Dayani, recently did a cover story for US Weekly. Debunking the "endless and damaging narratives" aimed at Meghan Markle, she highlighted the "kindness, mentorship, and support" the Sussexes offered during her time at Archewell. Dayani shared a story about sitting on Markle’s kitchen floor while the Duchess was multitasking like a genius. Juggling her roles as both a mother and an employer, Markle was feeding Princess Lilibet while cold-calling senators to advocate for paid leave at the same time.

Dayani also recalled Markle’s trip to Uvalde, Texas, after the heartbreaking school shooting in 2022. Markle spent hours with grieving families, offering hugs and support when they needed it most. Dayani stressed that she is still close with the couple, calling them "kind, decent, caring people," and shared how proud she is to be their friend. Many see Dayani as the real force behind the Sussexes’ success in Hollywood.

In fact, royal experts believed that Mandana Dayani’s departure from Archewell was a big loss for the couple and their business. 

Mandana Dayani played a major role in helping Meghan Markle and Prince Harry move from royalty to Hollywood stars. She was behind securing all their major deals with Netflix and Spotify. But just before Harry & Meghan was released, the Iranian-American entrepreneur resigned from her position. Archewell confirmed in 2023 that Dayami would no longer be working with their foundation or media company.

There was no fallout, though. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle needed someone like Dayani to step in while they were on paternity leave. After the "planned" transition, as their press secretary Ashley Hansen stated, the couple took full leadership of the company. And, from Dayani’s recent defense, it is clear that she is still in the Sussexes' corner.
