A Marvel Connection? Chris Evans Has Picked His Guy to Take Over the James Bond Name
The next James Bond speculations have reached the doors of the standout duo of Knives Out, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas. And they seemingly have very peculiar choices! Ever since the casting news for 007 broke out, everyone, including fans, celebrities, and even creators, pitched their choices for the new James Bond. While the fanbase seems to have already put its faith in the world’s most handsome actor, Henry Cavill; Captain America perhaps does not want to go as far as DC Universe and has someone right at home who, according to him, will fit the role perfectly.
Chris Evans and Ana de Armas took the Wired interview recently and answered some of Google’s most searched questions about themselves. While Evans admitted that his beard is natural, De Armas said, unlike Ghosted, they have a very nice real-life chemistry and have grown close to each other. What had us interested was when the question popped up if the Blonde girl is a Bond girl too. To which she said not essentially, but she played a role in No Time to Die, and “it was one of the most wonderful experiences.”

They were then asked if they have someone they would want to play the next James Bond. And well, the Ghosted actors had their answers ready! For Ana de Armas, Irish actor Paul Mascal would make the perfect detective. However, Chris Evans had a different choice. He would rather see Age of Ultron‘s Pietro Maximoff take over the role as he is “a big Aaron Taylor Johnson guy.” Well, Cavill may be a fan favorite, but the Marvel star, who may as well take over the Highlander role, has his priorities sorted.

Chris Evans also answered if he will play Gene Kelly

Although we haven’t received any updates since then, in the autocomplete interview, Evans answered this frequently asked question saying he hopes to play the role.
He further said it would not be a biopic as Gene Kelly did not want a biopic himself. Instead, it will be about the love story of a boy and his band, so “Gene is more than an ancillary character. But we are still tweaking it,” said the American native.
