Unlike Chandler Bing, Matthew Perry did not like playing it safe. While the actor will always be remembered for his iconic role, he did not share a lot of the same interests as his character. However, it was his various payments from the NBC show, Friends, that helped him put down the payment to purchase the most expensive car in his expansive collection.

Although his collection included a gorgeous Aston Martin, it still could not hold a candle to his pride and joy that has been owned by even Marvel’s Tony Stark.

Over the years, Matthew Perry went from being known for his tennis capabilities to being remembered for his sarcastic humor. While he may have spent his time entertaining the world, he always had his secret pleasures to keep him happy. Apart from his love for tennis, he also shared the same passion for automobiles. Proudly embracing the same, his most expensive one would be the 2017 Audi R8 Spyder.

The vehicle has been estimated to have cost about $160,000. A difference of $5000 stood between the car and the actor’s 2014 Aston Martin Vantage. While these are two of his most expensive vehicles, his collection did not end there. Apart from these two stunners, Perry also had 3 BMWs, 1 Porsche, and even an SUV, Lincoln Navigator, in his collection.

Although his collection proved his love for classic sleek cars, it never seemed to come close to his love for the game of tennis.

It might come as a surprise to most that being a comedian was not initially a part of Matthew Perry’s plans. However, it was only his second option. In the beginning, the actor wanted to be a professional tennis star. Back in Canada, he was considered to be a nationally ranked-junior player. Unfortunately, those dreams came to an end when he moved to the United States as a teenager.

Although he gave up on his dream, he ended up following another that left an impact on everyone. However, he continued to show his support for the game and even all the players throughout his life. While Perry may no longer be among the living, his legacy and even his favorite things seem to give his friends and family some solace.
