The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has long been an advocate of justice and welfare. However, in the last couple of months, he literally took his fights against the British Tabloids to the threshold of the High Court. Thus, becoming the first ever Royal in a century to do so. His legal proceedings against the unlawful activities of publications to flash his private life before the public resulted in many hard-wired acts throughout the trial. There were instances where the Prince almost choked on his tears while there were also instances when the publication fell on his knees to beg pardon from the Duke.

The papers, although went on denying the claims, took their statements back for an instance, as stated in the court paper. Admitting their Unlawful Information Gathering, the publisher wrote, “MGN unreservedly apologizes for all such instances of UIG”. It, in fact, assured the claimants that are Prince Harry and his team such conduct will never be repeated.

This was apparently one of the hundreds of such cases that the Duke has filed before the Royal Court of Justice in London. Prince Harry’s lawyer, David Sherborne, opened his iconic argument by stating that “It was a flood of illegality.” However, what was even worse was this was getting “approved by Senior executives, managing directors and members of the board.”

As reported by one of the Associated Press outlets, the publisher of Daily Mail pleaded guilty in court to illegally gathering information about the Prince. Addressing the alleged catfishing phone hacking scandals, the publication said the Price was due “appropriate compensation.” He thus received his fair share of victory years after falling prey to the hacks. The outlet reported that the allegations were made against a 2004 article headlined “S*x on the beach with Harry”.

The company also added that it did not intend to reduce the damages as filed in the court. They apologized since they believe it should not have occurred in the first place. The phone hacking claims had one of the royal’s biggest rivals, Piers Morgan, included in the list. Nonetheless, the tabloid moghul has always defied the claims, or at least till yet.
