Many anticipated movies found themselves at a standstill because of the uprising resulting from Hollywood strikes. Even after the writers’ strikes came to an end, the SAG-AFTRA union kept their protests going in full motion. However, very recently, the SAG-AFTRA strike has finally come to an end too, opening gateways for shows and movies to go back into production.

Despite the conclusion of the uprisings, a much-anticipated Marvel movie got pushed back. A recent report suggests that the movie will not be released during the summer movie season. And it is not Deadpool 3.

Which Marvel flick is still not releasing in summer after the strike’s end? 

Out of the movies that faced a delay was Kelly Marcel’s Marvel movie, Venom 3. The previous two parts of the franchise did a massive business of $1.36 billion worldwide at the box office. The third installation of the movie, still untitled, had an initial release date of July 14, 2024. However, the Tom Hardy starrer, recently got another release date falling much later than the initially proposed one. Sony Pictures has pushed the release of Venom 3 to Nov 8, 2024, as reported by Variety. 

This delay is a major letdown for Marvel enthusiasts who have been waiting for Tom Hardy to reprise his role as the lethal protector for months. Apart from Andrew Garfield, actors like Juno Temple and Stephen Graham are also joining the upcoming installment of the franchise. With the Hollywood uprisings coming to an end, fans can expect more release dates for Marvel movies, including Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. 

While Venom 3’s delay is only a matter of a few months, the Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has hit an indefinite pause. Following are the interesting cameos that one can expect in the final installment of the trilogy.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the threequel of Spider-Verse, which will also shed light on all the confusion created by the cliffhanger of Across the Spider-Verse. In the previous parts of the Spider-Verse, fans got a glimpse of actors like Donald Glover, and images of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. This time, however, there is a chance for Josh Keaton’s Spider-Man variant to join the last part. Apart from Keaton, Spider-Man Noir, John Mulaney’s Spider-Ham, with Miles Morales’s Prowler returning to the upcoming movie. 

The anticipated movie had a release date of March 2024. However, the Hollywood uprising put a halt to the Marvel movie’s production. As per reports, the movie’s recording is still incomplete. Now, with the strikes finally pulling its strings, fans can gear up for the two most anticipated movies in Marvel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse and Venom 3.
