Millie Bobby Brown's biggest payday comes from her role on Stranger Things. Despite her maturity as an actress, Brown is still a down-to-earth, fun-loving kid at heart and often flaunts her playful side in interviews, talk shows, and on social media. As fans eagerly await further updates about the fifth season of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown hinted that she might not be tuning in herself. Recently, the actress shared that while Americans are obsessed with watching her on the screen, she herself is not a huge fan of that. 

She opened up about why she cannot bear to watch her own movies, despite their massive success.

Many actors in the industry do not watch themselves on the screen to prevent being self-critical and negatively affecting their future performances. However, the reason for Millie Bobby Brown is different. Not just her own movies, she does not like to watch movies in general because she reportedly has a low attention span. As per The Sun, whenever someone suggests a film to the Enola Holmes actress, the first question she asks is “How long do I have to sit there for?”

Brown further added, “Because my brain and I don’t even like sitting for my own movies”. The British actor confessed that she often catches herself multitasking while watching a movie. When she is watching something, she either ends up munching too much, or she has to be doing something like baking, grooming a dog, or on her computer. Although Brown typically does not give her full attention to movies, there was one exception for her.

Millie Bobby Brown talked about a 2024 Oscar-nominated movie that made her heart so happy that she could not take her eyes off the screen. 

Two of the biggest hits in 2023 were Barbie and Oppenheimer. But it was the "big pink hug of pink and happy women" that had Millie Bobby Brown hooked, even though she usually struggles to stay focused. “Yes, I Barbied. How could you not, ” said the 20-year-old. When she watched the movie, nothing could pull her away, and she felt like "Barbie is what the world needs”. 

When it comes to her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, however, it is a whole different story. Millie Bobby Brown revealed that Bongiovi is a huge movie fanatic, no matter the film.“He just sits and watches movies all day. And I cannot do that". Whether or not she watches herself on screen, given that Damsel is still in Netflix's top 10 films, it is clear fans are not losing interest in watching Millie Bobby Brown.
