‘Stranger Things’ Grace Van Dien Talks Being “scared and nauseous” as US President Elections Come Closer to Its End
The elections are always different for everybody. While for some, it might feel like a distant event with little impact on their daily lives, others wonder how their vote can really make a difference in their everyday struggles. Recently, Grace Van Dien, best known for her role in Stranger Things, pointed out yet another example of the varied lenses through which people view US politics, especially on the big day when the nation heads to the polls.
Van Dien specifically called out the way people are reacting on social media during the election, noting how men and women often view the event through very different prisms.

Grace Van Dien got her breakthrough moment in Stranger Things season 4, where she had a brief but impactful role as Chrissy Cunningham. Since then, she has decided to take a step back from acting, but she has remained vocal about her political views on social media. Recently, she posted a tweet that read, "All the men on the tl joking lightheartedly about the election and all the women actually being scared and nauseous”.
Referring to the situation as a state of "dystopia," Van Dien expressed that the election is much more serious than it may seem. Many women also seemed to relate to Dien’s feelings, and they shared their own experiences. This comes shortly after X was seen in a fit of laughter, reminiscing about the wildest presidential campaign from a few years ago.
While this year’s election campaign was no less than a circus, nothing compares to the time Ye, aka Kanye West, stepped into the field.

Back in 2022, Ye announced he was running for president. As surprised as America was at the time, the rapper seemed to mean every word of his bold declaration. From pouring millions into his campaign to drumming up celebrity support, he did everything to give his presidential dreams a real chance. However, the rapper might have soon realized just how much of a long shot that was.
Earlier this year, Ye teased yet another go at pursuing his political ambitions. But as things stand, he seems to have lost interest in joining the US elections this time around, but that does not mean fans have forgotten about it too. While the online conversations around the election are certainly mixed, one thing is clear- everyone is watching closely and bracing for the historic decision.
