As soon as the ’90s sitcom became popular, fans started to get more curious about the actors on their screens. Although many stars would love this fame and would indulge themselves deeper into it, Kudrow had the contrary experience. During a conversation with Candi Magazine in 2020 as per The Sun, the American actress explained the difference between being a celebrity and an actor.

According to her, being a celebrity was way easier because then she would just have to show up at the parties and be in the right places. However, being an actor was challenging because an actor has to work on her skills while looking for characters that would be interesting. Therefore, she found it harder than she thought. Additionally, Kudrow revealed when the sitcom first took off; she thought her job was to be a celebrity only.
