Piers Morgan Slams Prince Harry’s Netflix Deals, High-Profile Interviews and Other Media Empire
Piers Morgan is not one to hold back, ever. The outspoken TV presenter has always been vocal about his disapproval of the Sussexes and their every move. He has criticized their Hollywood ventures, charitable efforts, and, not to forget, his remarks about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview had sparked a massive public firestorm. While plenty has changed since that explosive interview, one thing that has not is Piers Morgan’s relentless tirades against the Californian royals, both in the press and on social media.
Morgan recently seized another opportunity to go after the Duke, as the 40-year-old took the stage to speak on some pressing issues.

Prince Harry recently attended the Clinton Global Initiative 2024 summit, where he called for a safer online world for kids and also addressed the new Archewell Foundation Parent's Network. The Duke took aim at tech companies, saying, "We must also hold digital platforms accountable". In response, Piers Morgan jumped on X, asking Harry for some "advice" on protecting the royal family from “the harmful effects of people abusing them in books, Netflix docs, podcasts and TV interviews with Oprah”.
This was a rather pointed jab at Prince Harry- his tell-all memoir, the Harry & Meghan docuseries, and their controversial interviews. Morgan seemed to liken the damage social media does to kids to what the Prince has done to the royal family since his split. Over the years, the commentator has turned Sussex-bashing into a career move, something he is quite thankful for. But at one point, Prince Harry did hit back.
Last year, Prince Harry filed a lawsuit accusing Morgan of constantly publicly criticizing him in the media.

In 2019, Prince Harry sued the Mirror Group Newspapers- which has been talked about enough. Piers Morgan was editor of the Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004, but despite leaving the group long ago, Prince Harry pulled him into the legal mess. In a statement to the High Court, the Duke said, “Both myself and my wife have been subjected to a barrage of horrific personal attacks and intimidation from Piers Morgan”.
Prince Harry even urged the law to hold Morgan “properly accountable” for his actions against him and his mother, the late Princess Diana, years ago. Morgan, however, denied any involvement in phone hacking during his time at the Mirror. And after Prince Harry won the case, Morgan lashed out at the Duke in a statement, calling him “ruthless, greedy, and hypocritical”. And it seems the jabs are still flying.
