While it may have been nearly two decades since the last episode of Friends aired on television, the fans still want to know more about their beloved character. The cast of the show has also created a connection with the fans that they still entertain them by posting throwback photos. Sharing a memory of the show, Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green in the show, recently showed how she still has a wardrobe piece of her iconic character. 

Actors taking their character’s clothes in memory of the project is not the first incident people might have come across. However, this time it is Jennifer Aniston who shared that the show’s costumes still have a special place in her life which she has kept all these years.

With stints at Bloomingdale’s and Ralph Lauren, there’s no denying Rachel Green was the certified fashionista on Friends. Talking about the beloved sitcom with The Wall Street Journal, Aniston shared she stole Courteney Cox’s Monica’s dress and has also kept her character’s outfit to date. Interestingly, the actress also revealed that she has kept a pair of her character, Rachel Green’s red loafers. She shared that she took the “wonderful pair of square-toed loafers from Joan & David,” during the conversation.

Even in the past, the Murder Mystery actress has often shared a nostalgic glimpse of her character’s collection. Last year, she shared a photo on her Instagram story wearing Monica Geller’s flower print V-neck dress with lace trim. She posted the photo with the caption, “Does the dress look familiar? Still got it! @courteneycoxofficial @friends.” 

Though Aniston has been flaunting Cox’s outfit from the show, the wardrobe of her own character, Rachel Green, was no less and it inspired fashion trends for a generation.

Fashion styles like ripped crop tops and loose jeans are copied from Jennifer Aniston’s character. 

With all that, the cast of the show has always shared their warm feelings toward each other. As they were last seen on the ‘Friends’ reunion episode, the audience still cherishes their comradery and friendship. The die-hard fans of the sitcom are still asking for a reunion which does not seem possible anytime soon.
