It is the end of an era- and the Upside-Down gates are about to be closed for the one last time (or not). But Millie Bobby Brown, who has been working on Netflix’s magnum opus, Stranger Things, as the psychic protagonist for almost a decade has finally called it a day. The fifth and final season of the sci-fi horror has wrapped its filming, and it is only a matter of time before fans will get to see the epic battle between Vecna, his upside-down monsters, and the Hawkins gang, on the small screens. But for now, Brown is taking some well-deserved downtime. 

Millie Bobby Brown was recently seen in New York, spending quality time with one of her dogs, who is not less than a celebrity at this point. 

Millie Bobby Brown was seen taking a casual stroll on the streets of NY, right after Stranger Things wrapped up production. The actress was fully winter-prepped, wearing an oversized black faux-fur jacket and a brown woolen muffler. She paired the look with blue denims and a pair of chunky fluffy brown boots that served all the Christmas vibes. The 20-year-old further finished her look with a black leather sling bag. But the highlight of her outing was her 3-year-old poodle, Winnie, who walked alongside the actress. 

Winnie is no ordinary dog. She has not only been to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon but is also a regular on the Stranger Things sets. Last month, Winnie’s unique haircut, while she was hanging out with Brown on the Stranger Things sets, turned a lot of heads on the internet. And while the therapy dog is wallowing in her newfound celebrity status, Brown abandoned her Stranger Things crew on their wrap party.

Brown, however, had good reasons for skipping the celebration, now that she has many other commitments. 

Stranger Things recently celebrated their production wrap. While fans were thrilled to see behind-the-scenes photos of the cast, they also could not help but notice Millie Bobby Brown’s absence. However, this should not have come across as surprising as sources had already informed that the actress would be spending time with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, and his family throughout the holidays. 

A source told PEOPLE that Brown is “enjoying a magical year” as a newlywed and is very excited to spend the holidays as a “married woman”. The Enola Holmes star spent Thanksgiving with the Bongiovis and will most likely spend her Christmas the same way. Nonetheless, before she gets too busy promoting Stranger Things 5, Brown sure is making the most of her leisure with her furry companion.
