Magazine that the Duchess, along with Prince Harry, would be taking a trip to a “remote island” to have a “relaxing” summer, after all the negative attention the Sussexes have endured this year. According to the insider, the couple wants to “have fun as a family without any outside pressure and be in complete luxury".

The timing is also perfect for Markle since she has just wrapped the first season of her upcoming Netflix series, which began filming in March. Assuming she has some breathing room in her schedule before diving into the launch of American Riviera Orchard’s first product, the getaway rumor could actually materialize. This family trip could also prepare Markle for what lies ahead, especially given that she is already distressed ahead of her comeback into the lifestyle arena.

Royal commentators have revealed Markle’s reaction to the recent criticism over her American Riviera Orchard and how much it is getting under the Duchess's skin. 

American Riviera Orchard has not yet launched its products into the market. However, one of the brand’s offerings is definitely going to be jam, which was revealed by Meghan Markle’s gifts to her Hollywood friends. However, the jams have faced much criticism from fans as they could not wrap their heads around how such a simple product could justify its high price. Royal author Tom Quinn mentioned that the Suits alum was "in tears" over such backlash from fans, as he told The Mirror.

Even royal biographer Angela Levin told GB News that Markle had bawled her eyes out over the criticism and has been feeling “very low” ever since. Levin also commented on the Californian royal being “thin-skinned”. Given this, it is no wonder why Markle would seek a luxurious family holiday, away from all the pressure and media scrutiny.
