Meghan Markle’s Big Comeback with Netflix and Her Lifestyle Brand Now Has a Confirmed Timeline
It has been almost nine months since Meghan Markle first introduced her lifestyle brand. Since then, there has been no shortage of exciting promises for the Sussexes anticipated ‘redemption arc’. One of the most talked-about part of the supposed comeback was Markle’s Netflix culinary show. But, as with anything that big, there were obstacles- trademark issues being the major one. Still, it looks like the Duchess has worked through all the hurdles and has cleared the way for both her Netflix show and brand launch.
Markle’s highly anticipated comeback, which was supposed to happen in 2024, has been pushed back a little. But the good news is, we finally have a set schedule, and things are back on track!

Meghan Markle announced her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, back in April of this year. From the moment fans got a peek into the lifestyle brand, they started anticipating Markle's big return as a lifestyle guru, long after her royal wedding to Prince Harry. Recently, Page Six reported that Markle plans to unveil her highly anticipated lifestyle brand in "early 2025." The report also confirmed that the Duchess will launch her "cooking, gardening, and entertaining" show on Netflix around the same time.
This was also mentioned by the Daily Mail last month, which also revealed that Netflix will handle the merchandising for American Riviera Orchard. But aside from trademarking issues, there are other challenges ahead for Markle’s lifestyle career as well. The market already has some big-name lifestyle moguls, including Martha Stewart, who, it seems, is not very happy about Markle’s new venture.
Martha Stewart was reported to dislike being compared to Meghan Markle, even finding it "insulting.”
Martha Stewart does not support Meghan Markle's lifestyle comeback
Since the launch of American Riviera Orchard, Meghan Markle has landed comparisons with Martha Stewart. It was being said that Hollywood might finally have a new lifestyle mogul to follow after Stewart. But a source close to Stewart spoke to InTouch magazine last month and revealed that she does not really like being asked about Markle’s brand and finds it "insulting."

As per the insider, Stewart finds it "irritating" to be compared to a “rookie,” adding that Markle should not even think about coming close to Stewart’s empire “just because she’s married to a prince.” This came just months after Stewart said she was “flattered” to be an inspiration to Markle and even gave her some advice for American Riviera Orchard. Nonetheless, whether Markle can truly make a name for herself in the lifestyle world- especially with competition like Stewart- will be clear in just a few months now.
