Leigh Francis Delves Into His ‘Stranger Things’ Halloween-Inspired Costume Alongside Graham Norton
Imagine a softly lit living room, where the spicy aroma of a pumpkin latte fills the air, and the disturbing spectacle of Chrissy’s bone contortions in the air plays on the screen. Yes, that is probably how most Americans spent their Halloween nights this year. Stranger Things is not just a critically acclaimed series but is also the perfect Halloween show for many in the States. Whether it is for a Halloween movie night or finding inspiration for a costume, this show delivers on all counts.
Leigh Francis, the popular television presenter, also tapped into his Stranger Things fandom this year, by taking costume inspiration from a very popular character from the show.

Francis recently made a pit stop on Graham Norton’s show on Virgin Radio UK and talked about his handmade Stranger Things costume. The 50-year-old strolled through the city, dressed as Vecna, on Halloween. He walked from streets to railway stations in that costume, turning heads along the way. He jokingly referred to himself as “Vecna’s dad,” making light of his stature. And then Francis asked about Norton’s Halloween celebration.
Francis and Norton both recalled the time when the latter dressed as Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Norton, a huge fan of the franchise, was in stitches remembering it. While Francis had a great time in his Vecna costume, wandering around the city, a popular cast member from the show does not have the luxury of going out and celebrating the Halloween festival.
Millie Bobby Brown revealed last year that she does not go out to celebrate Halloween and it was a sacrifice she made because of Stranger Things.

Millie Bobby Brown rose to fame with the Duffer Brothers show, but her success came with a cost. Last year, during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 19-year-old revealed that she likes to stay in for Halloweens as everyone dresses as her characters, Eleven and Enola Holmes. This phenomenon is much creepier to her than Halloween itself.
She may not step outside on Halloween, but she still found a way to delight her fans with a Halloween treat. Brown’s Godzilla vs. Kong which grossed over $401M worldwide, is now available on Netflix for streaming. With the final season of Stranger Things approaching, it’s a golden opportunity to catch Millie Bobby Brown’s first theatrical appearance if one has not done so already.
