Cobra Kai has gained exponential fame and fandom since it first arrived on Netflix. Unfortunately, when the world was eagerly waiting for its last saga, the double strike shattered all their hopes. With writers and actors joining on the pickets demanding their rights, the show faced a delay in production. Months have passed after the team announced they will stand strong with other artists and no update has come, which has put the longtime fans on the brink.

But putting balm to their wounds, Martin Kove recently came forward, sharing exciting news with fans. It looks like the American actor has stored something thrilling for his fans in the box.

Cobra Kai star Martin Kove shares glimpses of his new project

On 21 September, Martin Kove turned to social media to update fans with his latest endeavor. For this, he shared a video that featured him and his son in a green landscape. The fan-favorite star first introduced himself, continuing to give a hint about a special project that has remained close to his heart. He revealed the name of the comic book series titled Prodigal Son. Then his son Jesse Kove took over the narration and said that he has also contributed to it.

The 32-year-old described this series as a “gripping western that combines action, redemption, power, and family“. Following this came an animated version of the story and The Karate Kid star voiced one of the lead characters. Kove has co-created this comic book series with Don Handfield, creator and producer of Knightfall. The creators will launch the first installment of this four-issue mini-series on Kickstarter.

The series revolves around a 12-year-old boy who joins hands with the “meanest outlaw” in the Old West to avenge the death of his family from a gang that killed them. Meanwhile, fans who have been wanting to watch Martin Kove in season 6 must embrace themselves for the brewing war.

What to expect from the final season of this Netflix gem? 

About two months back, Cobra Kai‘s creator promised fans their quick return to the screen. So now the question arises of what the season will offer viewers. As per previous incidents in the show, there is a possibility of a civil war coming up in the finale. It can happen if Mike Barnes leads Terry’s former students in a fight against the students of Kim Da-Eun. In fact, Jacob Bertrand also expressed his desire to Pop Culture that he wants to see a world tournament in season 6.

Also, Dallas Dupree Young who plays Kenny in the show told Digital Spy that his character has been left heartbroken. After Silver’s betrayal, he does not know what he will do next. So with all the things falling apart, fans can expect nothing less than a blast that will change the lives of students forever.
