If anyone would ask the sitcom’s fans if they would want any actor to be replaced, they would definitely say no. However, there was an actor who auditioned for this remarkable character, not once, but twice. It was The Idol star Hank Azaria. He believed he had what the showmakers were looking for in Joey Tribbiani. Although it did not work out for him, he got a feature as another significant character in the show.

Azaria starred in the NBC sitcom as Phoebe’s boyfriend, the Scientist Guy, David.
