The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is in hot water again, this time for reworking her and Prince Harry's $100 million Netflix deal. According to the latest reports by the Mirror Sky News presenter Rita Panahi slammed the "bloody" business deal, which reportedly focuses on lifestyle and cuisine. Panahi also poked a jab at the project's lack of a title and seemingly stalled progress.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliam chimed in, predicting the deal will fizzle out next year. He noted that Netflix's award-winning series The Crown has already covered the royal family's story, making the Sussexes' project redundant. According to Fitzwilliam, it seemed the streaming giant's interest in the couple was waning, and that their big deal might be going bust.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's partnership with Netflix is thriving, despite all criticism. Their first series, curated by Markle, will celebrate cooking, gardening, and friendship, while the second series will offer unprecedented access to the world of professional polo, a sport Prince Harry is passionate about. Netflix praised the couple's production company, Archewell Productions, and their successful collaboration.

"We value our partnership with Archewell Productions," Netflix said back in 2023 contrary to the backlash against their Spotify fallout, and not without evidence. The Harry & Meghan bombshell docu-series was the platform's biggest documentary debut, with a record-breaking 81.55 million hours watched in its debut week. Netflix continues to optimize its deals with the Sussexes, dismissing critics' claims. The streaming giant is committed to working with the couple on various projects, solidifying their fruitful partnership.
