World’s most famous influencer, a billionaire businesswoman, and now a rising star in the acting world- yet, as the tradition goes, Kim Kardashian's love life attracts the most attention. The fashion mogul has had quite a tangled history when it comes to love. She has tried her luck at finding wedding bliss thrice, but none of her marriages could last. Among them, one of the most short-lived marriages, not just for Kardashian but probably for the entire industry, was her union with successful basketball player, Kris Humphries.

Their separation raised a lot of eyebrows, leading Kim Kardashian to set the record straight and about whether her relationship with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, crossed paths while she was still hitched to Humphries- which was the popular perception. 

Kim Kardashian got married to Kris Humphries in August 2011. After a mere 72 days, Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries. Following the split, several reports started circulating, alleging Kardashian of having an affair with Ye. In a 2018 interview, the 43-year-old told Big Boy’s Neighborhood that she had an encounter with Ye backstage at an award show while she was still married to Humphries. “I just see him looking at my ring and his face would just get heartbroken,” said the American Horror Story: Delicate star.

Kardashian, however, clarified that she did not act on the feelings that were brewing between her and Ye before she ended her marriage with Humphries. Kardashian and Ye started dating in 2012 and got married after two years. Unfortunately, the relationship, which was once the talk of the town, did not last either. While Kardashian denied her adultery accusations with Ye, Humphries allegedly stuck to the impression of his ex-wife’s disloyalty.

Humphries allegedly confided to his girlfriend about the rumored affair between Ye and Kardashian while he was still married to The Kardashians star. 

As per a report from TMZ, in the midst of all the controversy, Kris Humphries allegedly knew that the reason for his split from Kim Kardashian was her affair with Ye. He had told his girlfriend, Myla Sinanaj, that the reason Kardashian married him in the first place was to enhance her popularity, and not because of love. The NBA player also pointed out Ye’s absence from their wedding.

Humphries reportedly told Sinanaj, “If he was such a close family friend, why wasn't he invited to the wedding?” Around the same time, Ye also released a track titled ‘Theraflu,’ with lyrics that went, “I admit I fell in love with Kim. Around the same time she fell in love with him,” which further stirred Humphries’ doubts about Kardashian. Whether or not the adultery rumors were true, all three have since moved on and found new chapters in their romantic lives.
