The Cast of ‘Argylle’ Delivers an ‘Electric’ Music Video for an Original Track for the Henry Cavill Led Spy Flick
The upcoming espionage thriller, Argylle has kept most of its contents a mystery, only dropping a couple of teasers from the flick so far. However, viewers who have been waiting for the Henry Cavill starrer to hit cinemas in just a few days can now feast their eyes on the end credits scene that the movie will culminate with. In its final sequence, Argylle will treat audiences to a visual spectacle through a music video featuring the movie’s main cast.
Not only does the track carry vocals by some renowned artists, but it also showcases the singing talents of one of its cast members.

The track in question is a funky disco-pop melody titled ‘Electric Energy’, released just a little while ago. Ariana De Bose, who plays Keira in the film, lent her vocals to it alongside Grammy-winning artists Nile Rodgers and Boy George. The video accompanying the song showcased the majority of actors headlining the flick lip-syncing and vibing along to the catchy verses, including the movie’s biggest star, Alfie, the cat in the bag.
Henry Cavill and Catherine O’Hara only delivered some subtle jigs in the clip. However, Bryan Cranston, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson and Bryce Dallas Howard appeared to be in rather high spirits, strutting their stuff with vigor. The legendary artists Nile Rodgers and Boy George also presented their eccentric styles in the video. Meanwhile, Ariana DeBose enchantingly sang and danced her heart out in it.
Those with keen eyes and an obsession with Argylle may have also noticed one key player missing from the video.

For an unknown reason, the only cast member missing from the video for ‘Electric Energy’ is Dua Lipa. As the leading lady of the spy flick and a three-time Grammy-winning pop star, it was quite unexpected that Lipa would pull a no-show in the video of the song associated with her debut film, let alone sing in it. She was also absent from a previous promotional event that Cavill led in South Korea earlier this month.
So far, no explanation has been given as to why Lipa has sat out such crucial Argylle moments. Earlier, a bizarre marketing ploy for Argylle in England was believed to be associated with the ‘One Kiss’ singer. Since that stunt backfired horribly, maybe the backlash from it led her to remove herself from Argylle’s promotions. However, she did appear at the film’s premiere which took place yesterday.
