Taylor Swift‘s rumored cameo as Dazzler has been a topic of speculation for a while. The assumptions reached the zenith with the promotional teaser of Deadpool 3. Without the fans, the fact that the teaser was supposedly shot in the same house as Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ short film would have gone unnoticed. However, in an interview with ET, Ryan Reynolds debunked the chances of any such possibility.

Only a month after the said interview, the ‘Love Story’ singer was spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs- New York Jets NFL game, accompanied by Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy. Therefore, despite the disappointing announcement, the bid to curiosity is still at large again. Especially as Swift and Levy were seen treading the streets of New York on Thursday, October 26. 

With Pop Crave’s recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the fans are back at it yet again. The director’s lack of response, “no comment” iteration, hasn’t stopped them from speculating and meddling with theories. As it is, one cannot really blame the internet when the director and Deadpool actor himself are in all praise for her poetic genius. 

The credible events leading up to the threequel release have generated a lot of hype, especially around the young artist’s feature. But such speculations have left the internet divided and in a state of mixed feelings.

Fans are more than just excited post the Taylor Swift and Shawn Levy get-together

While the rumors surrounding the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer’s feature in Deadpool 3 have gone through a series of ups and downs, the fans have not yet called it an end-game. As soon as the news of the two hanging out reached the internet, the fans went feral with their reactions. Admittedly, so because who doesn’t want a pop-icon moment in the history of the most pop-cultural MCU hero of all time? Hence, for the MCU fandom, it might be time for a new favorite. 

With the spirit of excitement also comes a hint of disappointment. And even though the scale weighs more on her feature, some fans still believe that casting her is a bad idea. Hence, the internet cannot stop thinking of what could go wrong. Some fans even took a dig at the post itself for not mentioning the director’s name.

It is true that the ‘Bad Blood’ singer is now in talks every other day. Some days it is due to her relationship status with Kelce and on other days, for her record-breaking The Eras Tour concert film. But for the non-swifties, her interaction with the MCU franchise has brought bad taste. And should she be actually featured, it could either make or break the box office. Hence, time will decide if history repeats itself.
