Life often tends to circle back when expected the least, and Ryan Reynolds has found himself caught in these twists of fate in the most unanticipated ways. As Deadpool & Wolverine now sits at a two-month gap for its theatrical release, Reynolds managed to send fans on a trip down memory lane by declaring his return to the football Mecca of Madridians, Santiago Bernabéu, six years after he graced the ground for Deadpool 2 promotions. However, this time, he is returning not as the agent of chaos but as a guest of the symphony, thanks to Taylor Swift.

Even though it is not for Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds' return to the holy grail is still a cause for celebration.

Ryan Reynolds recently appeared on TODAY alongside his co-stars from IF, John Krasinski and Cailey Fleming. During the interview, the host asked Reynolds if he had attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour yet. Reynolds revealed that he is eagerly anticipating attending the tour in Madrid and has been looking forward to it. He mentioned that his wife, Blake Lively, and children have already been to five or six shows. However, for Reynolds, this upcoming tour will be his first Eras Tour experience, which holds special significance, as he will return to the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Reynolds had been to the stadium approximately six years ago during the European promotional tour for Deadpool 2. Alongside his co-star Josh Brolin, he visited Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu and shared photos from the visit on social media, declaring himself a fan of Madrid and posing in Cristiano Ronaldo's locker room. Now, returning to the arena after six years, this time not for a Deadpool promotion but to witness his close friend Taylor Swift perform, adds an extra layer of celebration to the occasion.

During his chat with TODAY, Ryan Reynolds skillfully sidestepped inquiries about his youngest child's name, born in 2023. Instead, he humorously deferred to Taylor Swift, jesting, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be". Later, in an Entertainment Tonight interview, he joked about using a placeholder name for his fourth child, quipping that "all the letters are silent." Although he did allude that the name sounds like a "breeze", he averted the peer pressure of revealing the name ultimately.

Swift, known for her close friendship with Reynolds and Blake Lively, has previously christened all three of their daughters in her songs, ‘Betty’ from ‘Folklore’ and ‘Gorgeous’ from ‘Reputation’, including Betty, James, and Inez, as nods to the couple. Speculation has been rife that Swift may have already revealed the name of their fourth child in 'Midnights'. Although fans have yet to decipher the name definitively, with Reynolds and his family attending the Madrid Eras Tour, there remains a chance of revelation through shout-outs during Swift's performance. Hence, fans might need to wait on the Madrid Eras Tour for this.
