Recently at CinemaCon, Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool & Wolverine, addressed the swirling rumors about Taylor Swift entering the MCU as Dazzler. When prodded with the same question by Entertainment Tonight, Levy could not hide his disbelief at being repeatedly asked something he could not answer, a fact he believed the entire nation was aware of at this point. Sticking to his stance, possibly influenced by Ryan Reynolds, Levy opted not to confirm or deny the rumors.
He did, however, confess to finding the rampant speculation “fabulous”. Shawn Levy dropped a cryptic hint that the truth about all the rumors will not come out until July 26th. While remaining tight-lipped about Taylor Swift's rumored cameo, the creators of Deadpool & Wolverine did confirm at CinemaCon that Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, will be teaming up with the mutants in the third movie. However, this is not the first time Shawn Levy ducked this question about Taylor Swift.
Swift being cast in Deadpool 3 has been a rumor that was a topic of discussion for the filmmaker in numerous interviews throughout last year.

Shawn Levy playfully sidestepped the question during his appearance on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show. He understandably avoided giving a straightforward response, jokingly stating, “It pains me to be coy with you”. While he opted not to provide a direct comment, he did acknowledge, "It sure escapes the lips of social media every day”.
The 55-year-old also thought Taylor Swift as Dazzler "sounds like a great idea".
