Spotlight has always been that one place where, despite the friendly bonds on-screen, the rat race of success makes even the best of friends step into the shark tank. But luckily, some friendships go beyond the confinement of glitz and glamor and Selena Gomez may have shown the ultimate one amidst her Oscar-worthy journey through the ranks. The Emilia Pérez starlet recently rolled the red carpet for fellow pop sensation, Ariana Grande, who is writing her own silver-screen success story with a highly anticipated musical drama film, Wicked.

In fact, Gomez dodged a musical question, just in the process while waving the green flag for Grande.
