In an exclusive interview with E! News, Deadpool mastermind Ryan Reynolds has revealed that if anyone else could take over him as Deadpool, it would be Taylor Swift. He praised her sense of humor, calling it a "superpower" that she does not always showcase. “She's one of the funniest people I've ever met,” he said. Reynolds believed that Swift's humor is a rare talent that sets her apart. 

When the teaser trailer for Deadpool 3 debuted, a brief glimpse of Lady Deadpool sparked widespread speculation that Taylor Swift would be taking on the role. The seconds-long clip showed a feminine figure donning the iconic red suit, leading fans to theorize that Swift would be joining the franchise. However, none of these rumors yielded any desired results.

Although Ryan Reynolds gave his approval for Taylor Swift's reign as Deadpool, he has decided to save it for the future. 

Having joked about Taylor Swift and her babysitting skills, Ryan Reynolds further went on to shut down the cameo rumors once and for all. While Swifties hoped for a surprise appearance, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that it would not happen regardless of how close they were. “I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor,” Reynolds affirmed, that the songstress "is not in this film.” 

Reynolds clarified that Swift will not appear in the film, putting an end to speculation. Fans will have to wait for another opportunity to see the pop star on the big screen. Meanwhile, Deadpool 3 premieres on July 26, with Reynolds and Hugh Jackman along with high chances of Mrs. Reynolds stepping in for an action-packed adventure.
