Since Taylor Swift released her newest record, 'The Tortured Poets Department', last month, fans have been speculating if the singer snuck Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s fourth child's name into a song. The celebrity couple welcomed their fourth baby last year but have kept mum about the name or gender. With all the rumors that Swift might have hidden the little one's name in her album, the Deadpool actor has finally broken his silence on the matter.

Ryan Reynolds recently revealed the name he and his wife have chosen for their fourth baby, while they patiently wait for Taylor Swift to make a decision.

During a recent interview on TODAY to promote his latest film, IF, Ryan Reynolds found himself dodging questions from Savannah Guthrie about his youngest child's name, born in 2023. He playfully survived the line of questioning, joking, "We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be". Later, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he humorously shared the placeholder name he is using for his fourth child in which "all the letters are silent."

He went on to add the name sounds like a “breeze” which makes it hard for him to get mad at the child for something. Swift, who shares a close bond with Lively, previously honored their other three daughters - Betty, James, and Inez - in her song ‘Betty’ from the 2020 album ‘Folklore’. Moreover, the name James made an appearance in the singer's track ‘Gorgeous’ from the 2017 album ‘Reputation’. Speculation has also suggested that Swift might have already hinted at the name of the fourth child in ‘Midnights’.

The rumors stemmed from a particular line in the album's song 'You're on Your Own, Kid'.

Taylor Swift’s song 'You’re On Your Own, Kid' from her 2022 album 'Midnights' had a particular line that said, "I see the great escape, so long, Daisy May / I picked the petals, he loves me not.' And this was exactly what gave rise to the speculations. Swifties speculated that the Green Lantern stars might choose the name Daisy May for their fourth child. Moving on to Swift’s latest release, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, names like Cassandra, Peter, Chloe, Sam, Sophia, Marcus, Robin, and Aimee had a mention in it.

Given Taylor Swift's penchant for embedding Easter egg clues in her songs, it is quite possible that the name of the Free Guy actor and Gossip Girl alum’s fourth child is among the many names she referenced in ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. But for now, Ryan Reynolds seems perfectly happy to let fans speculate.
