In the musical landscape, recognition and success frequently go hand-in-hand, but for an artist to touch the legacy without fettering is a rare feat. However, pioneering artists like Taylor Swift, who embody unwavering career ambition, often have their reach beyond the fists. While it is widely prevalent that Taylor Swift commands a massive fan base with popularity rivaling tabloid headlines, it might come as a surprise that among the myriad of Swifties, one of her most devoted fans is none other than the Netflix star, Millie Bobby Brown.

After being on the end of receiving countless titles the last year, Swift seems to have topped another but this time it is personally for Brown.

In the contemporary era of music, there remain a select few still unaware of the trailblazing ordeal of Swift. Fortunately enough, Millie Bobby Brown is far apart from the compact faction of that existence, and the same became clear in her revelation during a recent GQ interview. Speaking to Josh Horowitz on MTV about her sci-fi thriller Damsel and some more about Stranger Things, Brown also talked about the most-played artist of 2023 and why it is Taylor Swift.

As soon as the name came out of Brown’s mouth, the star began swooning all over the 14-time Grammy winner. While Brown struggled to find the fitting adjectives to describe the mammoth influence she serves, “super” and “favorite” were at the top of its list. The 20-year-old also emphasized how music has an emotional connotation for her while enlisting one of her favorite songs, ‘My Tears Ricochet’. Despite Brown’s acknowledgment of her sister’s greater devotion as a Swiftie, the obvious deduction is that Swift has a substantial fan following even within the Brown household.

It is no news that big-impact artists and common people both are fans of Taylor Swift and this exceptional social recognition makes her one of the people in the industry whose collaborative list leaves fans gasping. Hence, the connection between Stranger Things and Swift goes way back. Firstly, in the names of Swift’s alliance credits, Sadie Sink takes a top spot for having featured in her short film.

Furthermore, the Upside Down star Joe Keery also seems to have a tie with the songstress. A nudge of online speculation began building back in December last year when the two doing rounds of the Electric Lady Studios in New York. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show shortly after, Keery made a teasing confession of whether the two had been looking for collaborations. While at the time his admission pulled up hopes in full throttle, her recent mention by Keery’s co-star, Brown prompts the question of whether both Sink and Keery besides her sister had a hand in making her a full-on Swiftie.
