But it is not just the guests; even Fallon himself voluntarily participates in this game, confessing random facts about himself. This time, he confessed an embarrassing blunder with Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour in front of Jenna Ortega and Catherine O’Hara.

As the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actresses interrogated Fallon to determine if the fact was true, the segment turned into a laughter riot. 

Jenna Ortega and Catherine O’Hara recently visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ahead of the release of their upcoming movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. As they rolled their swivel chairs to the round table for some True Confessions, Jimmy Fallon hit them with a story about getting his cardigan stuck to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfit back in June, nearly causing a delay to the Wembley concert. Despite the Oscar-worthy animated narration of the talk show host, Ortega and O’Hara hilariously (and brutally) debunked the false tale.

Jenna Ortega pointed out that, knowing Jimmy Fallon, he would “love that story if it were true” and would not keep it a secret or be so embarrassed by it. Even though Fallon claimed it was the best act he had ever pulled off in his entire life, trying to make the ridiculous lie seem believable, it could not fool the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice stars. At this point, Taylor Swift has become a constant feature on The Tonight Show, whether or not she is present. Earlier this year, Fallon promoted Swift’s latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', on his show.

In fact, 'promotion' would be an understatement, as Fallon compared the then highly anticipated album to natural calamities.

Jimmy Fallon never misses a beat while hyping up Taylor Swift. Back in April, before the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department', he had some images of him dropped reading about the “mind-blowing events” of the month, through the official X page of The Tonight Show. The 49-year-old joked, “Last week, earthquake. This week, eclipse. Next week: Taylor Swift's new album”. 

Even back in February, Fallon started his Monday monologue with some "Taylor Swift news”. He poked fun at how everyone acted shocked at the Grammys when she won and how the April announcement of 'The Tortured Poets Department' had other artists pushing their album releases to June. Clearly, he did not see Swift dragging her album release to August coming. Nonetheless, it is safe to say that Jimmy Fallon does enjoy moonlighting as Swift's personal PR guy occasionally.
