For years, the internet has chuckled over the running gag that Sebastian Stan and Harry Styles are the same person. There has also been a wild debate on which of the two charmers fans should favor, although most have found themselves in a dilemma. But apart from their ridiculously similar facial features and their unhealthy obsession with hot pink and wide-leg trousers, if there is one thing that deepens the fascination with the parallels between these two heartthrobs- it is Stan’s inability to hide his love for Harry Styles. 

The MCU actor has slipped up as a fan of Harry Styles on more than one occasion. 

Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson recently sat down with Hits Radio’s Nila Varman to chat about their black comedy psychological thriller, A Different Man. When asked to name the One Direction members they knew, Stan quickly blurted out, "I only know Harry.”  But this was not the first time Stan has shown that his music knowledge begins and ends with Harry Styles.

Back in 2019, at the Fandemic Tour in Houston, a reporter complimented Stan on his voice and asked if he would ever consider a music career. Once again, Stan could not help but give a nod to the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer, saying, "We are in the world of Harry Styles”, though he quickly tried to play it off by saying he had just heard a Styles song that morning, because of which the name came to his mind.

Despite the internet’s fascination with the two, Sebastian Stan and Harry Styles have never really crossed paths in public. Styles, however, recently grabbed headlines for a cozy interaction with another Hollywood heartthrob.

Last month, every fangirl's dream became a reality when Harry Styles and Andrew Garfield hit it off at a Valentino fashion show in Paris. Both stars, rubbing elbows with the likes of Sir Elton John, Jared Leto, and Salma Hayek at the Pavillion des Folies, looked like old pals as they chatted and laughed among the crowd. In a video posted on social media, Garfield could be seen smiling and laughing with the pop sensation- with a buddy handshake and thumbs up before going their separate ways.

It seemed like the first time the two ever met in public, but fans were already losing their minds online, calling the moment a 'fangirl milestone'. Some even dubbed their newfound friendship iconic. It does make one wonder- what kind of frenzy would erupt if Sebastian Stan and Harry Styles ever had their first public interaction?
