In the heart of the Deadpool & Wolverine hype, one of the biggest talking points has been the possibility of Taylor Swift making a cameo. She has been rumored to be stepping into the shoes of the much-loved X-Men character and musical powerhouse Alison Blaire/Dazzler. Despite the makers playing coy or outright denying it, fans refuse to let go of the notion that the pop star could grace the screen. Amid the discussions, fans have found another hint in Swift's latest album release, 'The Tortured Poets Department'. 

The sixteenth and final track on 'The Tortured Poets Department', titled 'Clara Bow', repeatedly drops the word “dazzling”. This frequent mention of the word had many fans convinced that it was a sneaky hint about Swift's rumored role as Dazzler in the MCU. According to industry insider Daniel RPK, Swift has even had a chat with Marvel Studios bigwig Kevin Feige. While the exact date of their chat is not known, the main agenda of the meeting reportedly centered around her potential future within the MCU.

Rumors tying Taylor Swift to the role of Dazzler started circulating years ago, right around the time they were cooking up X-Men: Apocalypse back in 2016. At that time, Swift was in her '1989' era, embracing a color palette of blue and white that gave off major Dazzler vibes. Despite director Shawn Levy's assurances that nothing will be revealed before July 26, fans are still not ready to let go of the chatter.
