Recently, Emily Blunt has been keen on asserting her status as a Swiftie, and she has valid reasons for doing so. Hence, after revealing her family's affinity for Taylor Swift, she again captured attention with another admission involving Swift and a beloved family member. During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Blunt reminisced about meeting the 'Blank Space' singer and recounted how Swift endeared herself to both Blunt and her daughter, Hazel, by complimenting the latter’s hairstyle following her decision to cut her hair short.

Blunt recalled how the haircut had left her daughter really conscious and Swift managed to sweep all those nerves down the drain with her compliment when she compared her daughter with a “60’s beatnik kid”. The actress stressed how it was actually the “best thing” anyone had done for her child thus far. So much so that she did not fumble to quote how, for a minute, she felt like her daughter would “faint” upon hearing Swift praise her. Although fortunately, that did not happen, it surely boosted her daughter with the confidence she required.

During a recent Q&A session with Etalk, Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling found themselves discussing Taylor Swift as a prominent topic. Blunt brought up Gosling's emotional scene from The Fall Guy trailer to illustrate how her experiences with Swift's music often evoke strong emotions, as she confessed to being "obsessed" with her. She further revealed that her entire family consists of Swifties while talking about their plan to attend Swift's performance in August.

Blunt admitted the likelihood of her channeling Colt Seavers is quite high since a Taylor Swift concert is nothing without the touch of tears. But she might not be the only one to shed tears because the concert seems like a family affair. However, besides the emotional rollercoaster the event promises to be, there remains a potential that this upcoming encounter will be just as remarkable as the previous one, and this time, Blunt may have more than one story about the pop star to share with her fans.
