Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their fourth child into the world last year. However, the child was a living mystery, as neither did anyone know about the baby’s name nor the gender. Well, at least now fans are halfway to the answer. Reynolds has recently unveiled the name of his fourth baby after making fans wait for over a year. And the internet has since been wondering how aunt Taylor Swift would like to honor the name in one of her songs.

Ryan Reynolds made the revelation at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere on Monday while delivering an emotional speech. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, who are here,” said the actor. And now that the name is out, though the gender of the baby is still under wraps, fans believe Taylor Swift might incorporate it into one of her songs soon, just as she did with her 2020 track 'Betty,' which featured the names of Reynolds and Lively's three older children: Betty, Inez, and James. 

Earlier this year, Ryan Reynolds told Today, "We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child's name will be". He even joked about using a placeholder name for the baby until Swift came up with a suggestion, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. There were also some speculations that the pop star had already hinted at the fourth baby's name in ‘Midnights’. It turns out, she did not.

Fans, however, cannot wait for Olin to find a place in Taylor Swift's music, and they have flooded X with requests about the same.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been like family to Taylor Swift for years. The couple even took their three children to the Eras Tour stop in Spain earlier this year, where Swift gave a sweet shout-out to their daughters. "I have to say that on ‘Folklore,’ some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez, and Betty," said the pop star. Given the affection Swift has for these kids, it is not too far-fetched to think Olin might get a special mention just like the other three. 

Many fans also found the name, Olin, quite absurd. Some even said that it reminded them of Bridgerton's Colin. 

Ryan Reynolds' choice of names for his kids has raised eyebrows before, as they tend to be pretty unconventional. For instance, many assumed James was a boy until it was revealed that she was not, despite the name’s meaningful origin- it was named after Reynolds’ late father. With the fourth child's name, it is even trickier to guess the gender. Nonetheless, Reynolds and Lively sure know how to keep fans on their toes with their baby name shenanigans.
