Elon Musk Echoes Kanye West’s Emotions, Claiming ‘Friends’ Is Infact Not Funny 3 Years After the Rappers Aversion
Kanye West might be one of the most controversial celebrities of all time, but there is one person who gives the rapper a run for his money, the founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk. However, the two icons have proved to be friends over the years and even shared almost a decade as friends. The world may have gotten a peek into their friendship when the CEO of X reactivated Ye’s account after it was suspended.
This time, the tech tycoon surprised his fans and followers with a revelation about the NBC sitcom, Friends. It was very similar to the one West had made to Jennifer Aniston, calling the show not funny.

Apart from being the wealthiest person in the world, Elon Musk is also a self-made billionaire with eccentric taste. This is why it should come as no surprise that the former Tesla chairman recently revealed on X that he does not find the hit NBC sitcom, Friends funny. He posted a meme that immediately triggered the fans of the show who came flooding the comments to defend their favorite show, which ran from 1994 to 2004 and built a huge fanbase who loved the character and the franchise.
Though fans were thrown by the tech billionaire’s dislike for the series, it bore a similarity to Kanye West’s 2020 Friends scandal. The only difference between the two seems to be the reason behind why they said the things they did. While Musk did it just because he probably really does not like the show, Ye was in the midst of his presidential run and was triggered by something Jennifer Aniston had said in an interview that was shared on social media.
As usual, Kanye West, who recently featured in Lorde’s merch drop, was up to his social media antics after the Friends star voiced her concerns.
Kanye West claims he is not a Friends fan
Back in 2020, Kanye West decided to run for President of the United States against the current president, Joe Biden. While most Americans know how that turned out, there is one story from the election that people seem to have forgotten. During the election, Jennifer Aniston had claimed that voting for the Yeezy mogul would be an “irresponsible” decision to make. In retaliation, Ye decided to put Aniston on blast by sharing a picture of a Vanity article that read, “Jennifer Aniston Endorses Joe Biden, Tells Fans ‘It’s Not Funny to Vote for Kanye.‘”

Following the post, the 24-time Grammy winner also wrote, “Friends wasn’t funny either” in a since-deleted tweet. While it may have been the rapper being petty, it quickly caught the attention of other social media users. However, the ‘Donda’ artist has not made any comments regarding his statements, so they may stand true.
