Chris Pratt Joins Millie Bobby Brown for a ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Joke Reminiscing a Sabrina Carpenter Concert

Tinseltown is usually a slippery slope where stars battle in the rat race to topple each other. But in a select few cases, showbiz finds solace in scripting friendships that go down in history for making it through thick and thin. Amidst the high-stakes promotional rounds of Netflix’s The Electric State, Chris Pratt joined Millie Bobby Brown on a trip down memory lane to a Sabrina Carpenter tour where the latter had the time of her life for a short but sweet reason.

Reflecting in the rearview, Brown unveiled the most iconic memory from her time there. However, Pratt cracked a joke so rib-tickling, it had the world arrested in a fit of laughter.

The Electric State’s Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt recently appeared for an interview on MTV. For a ‘Short n’ Sweet’ period, the topic landed on Sabrina Carpenter as Brown and Pratt went head over heels for the ‘Espresso’ singer. Josh Horowitz seized the opportunity and asked Brown whether she would recommend Pratt getting “arrested” at a Carpenter concert, having experienced it herself for being “too hot.” However, Pratt could not hold back, joking, “I would probably get arrested for being too old.”

Initially, Pratt was caught a bit off-guard with the Carpenter-coded colloquialism, but as Brown explained that it was a Carpenter thing to do, the actor took the cue with a side-splitting catch. “Old to be there,” Brown hilariously added, but Pratt? He just could not stop. Taking the jests up by a notch, they had a good laugh about the probability of real officers taking over the arrest—which, by the way, would be anything but ‘Short n’ Sweet.’

Despite Scathing Reviews, Millie Bobby Brown’s ‘The Electric State’ Spews Magic on Netflix Charts With Grand Success

The chain reaction of no-holds-barred comedy kept going as Millie Bobby Brown took pride in getting arrested by Sabrina Carpenter. However, for the Chris Pratts out there, here is what the entire Carpenter arrest is all about.

Why did Sabrina Carpenter arrest Millie Bobby Brown during her concert?

Sabrina Carpenter has become famous because of her quirky stage routine during concerts where the singer selects an audience member or a celebrity guest, in cases like Millie Bobby Brown, to jokingly arrest them. The reason for the arrest is usually something even funnier, like being “too hot,” as Brown mentioned. The segment is complete with fuzzy pink handcuffs, theatrically enhancing and elevating the entertainment factor.

Though it is unclear when or where the tradition exactly started, Carpenter does it to get more interactive with the audience. During her Atlanta concert in 2024, she arrested Brown, and surely, it made the concert more than memorable for the latter. Although it remains to be seen whether Chris Pratt takes the hints and gets arrested one fine day, if he does, it would probably be for being too funny and not old.
