Though award season is often a cutthroat sprint for stars, Grande and Gomez rewrite the rule, with the former echoing the latter’s journey. “I really love watching this moment happen for Selena,” Grande stated, seizing every opportunity to celebrate Gomez.

Selena Gomez revealed to the outlet that Ariana Grande was one of the first people she heard from after the nominations on Monday. The Emilia Pérez star was delivering the keynote speech at the luncheon presented by Chanel.
