Over the last few months, the world has been enamored with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s whirlwind romance. While it is evident that the couple loves spending time together and supporting one another at big events, the NFL star recently got candid about his plans for Thanksgiving. Although it was evident that he had quite a day planned for himself, time with his girlfriend seemed to be the only thing missing from his day.

While the couple might not be together on the holiday as Swift is on tour, the Chiefs tight-end opened up about his feasting plans for the big day with his brother.

Travis Kelce reveals his Thanksgiving Day plans

Shortly after his trip to another Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert, Travis Kelce released another episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. During this week’s episode, the brothers discussed their plans for Thanksgiving. While most fans would have assumed he would spend the day with his popstar girlfriend or family, the NFL star had other plans involving “feasting on KFC.”

As the conversation went on, the younger Kelce brother revealed that those were his plans as he “won’t have anybody here.” Instinctively, that is when Jason Kelce chimed in with an invitation for a “quick trip” to his house. While the older brother evidently did not want the 34-year-old to be alone, he also revealed that their family did not enjoy the normal Thanksgiving dinners everyone else loved.

While the day was always a big celebration in the Kelce household, Travis Kelce revealed that his day “always ended in tears.”

Why Travis Kelce cried at every Thanksgiving as a child

During the same podcast episode, the Kelce brothers took a walk down memory lane. Both of them recalled moments from their childhood Thanksgiving dinners. However, it seemed as though only Jason had good memories, Travis had a completely different opinion. He said that his day would always end with his dad “screaming” at him to finish the food that was on his plate.

That is when his older brother chimed in to clear up any doubt by adding, “Travis is a super picky eater.” Although the Kansas City Chief’s player said that he did like a few dishes, just not all of them. While there is no doubt that he has probably grown out of his picky phase, evidently the memories of those days are yet to loosen their grip on him.
