Now, a year after their divorce was finalized, the reality star poked fun at the entire situation. She ended up using a quote from Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger’ to emphasize the importance of securing a prenup in a recent episode of The Kardashians.

The 43-year-old was talking to her close friend and hairstylist, Chris Appleton, who was set to be getting married to Lukas Gage. She advised him to “get a prenup” and then made a reference to her 46-year-old ex-husband. Kim Kardashian proceeded to look into the camera and with a smirk on her face said, “We want a prenup, we want a prenup.” 

While her breaking the fourth wall was enough to send fans into a frenzy, her dig at Kanye West came exactly a year after their divorce was finalized.

Back in 2021, it was revealed that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from Kanye West. The pair was together for 7 years and even shared 4 beautiful children together, but that was not enough to keep their marriage going. With the rapper’s public outbursts and controversial comments, their marriage became void of happiness. While fans bore witness to their friendly relationship, that took a turn after the reality star’s relationship with Pete Davidson came to light.

While Davidson ended up exacting his revenge on Ye for everything he had put him through, the mother of 4 recently fired shots at the rapper around their divorce anniversary. The world still seems to be reeling over the split between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. However, it looks like the former couple has since moved on with their lives.
