'How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor and Craig Thomas Bring A Special 'The Office' Like Gift for Fans Globally

The heartfelt exploration of love, life and friendship, with all their ups and their down, is a crucial part of growing up. And to have it all neatly packaged into a bag of episodes, particularly called How I Met Your Mother by Craig Thomas, proved to be a major success over the years, resonating deeply with whoever followed Josh Radnor through the story as he played Ted Mosby. So much so that even after a decade, viewers remain nostalgic about the series, cherishing its portrayal of New York City and the adventures of Ted and his friends. With this amount of attachment, it was only fair the series was brought back in some manner as it approached its twenty-year anniversary. 

Concluded towards the end of March 2014, unbeknownst to those having laid their armors down, the creators of the show had something unexpected under their belt.

Having played Ted for nine seasons through the show, and with his itch to continue still wide awake, Josh Radnor recently took up a quest with none other than creator Craig Thomas, where the two explore behind the scenes of the show on a YouTube series titled: How We Made Your Mother. Setting on the journey to rewatch the 208 episodes of the show while they deep dive into the "secrets, theories, Easter eggs slash pineapples and general knowledge." about the show, as Randon reveals. Urging the fans that have remained put until now to become the voice of the show through involvement and interaction. 

The format of this project seems to closely resemble a very similar premise, but of a different show altogether. The Office Ladies, where former co-stars on the show and off-screen best friends Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey (Pam Beesly and Angela Martin in that order) recount the timeline of The Office, similar to what Radnor and Thomas will be observing. The two actresses sit down to rewatch and talk about the show, except The Office stars release podcast episodes over the music platform Spotify to put to motion their endeavor.

While the How I Met Your Mother stud remains steadfast in his dedication to the show accrediting a major landmark in his career, he has not kept followers devoid of any other updates on the network. In fact, recently having celebrated another landmark, but this time, in his life.

Josh Radnor, on January 6, 2025, celebrated his first wedding anniversary with none other than Jordana Jacobs. Sharing photos of their blizzard-struck wedding. Fans swooned over the real-life romance, drawing parallels between Radnor and his character, Ted. Many noted Jacobs resembled Tracy, Ted's wife in the show. Overjoyed fans flooded Radnor with requests to share their love story, with some even suggesting a "How Josh Met Jordana" series. The celebration evoked nostalgia for the show and delight in seeing Radnor's happy ending.

With How I Made Your Mother now an official spin-off to the original, followers are once again have their eyes soaked with tears of joy and heart heavy with nostalgia for better days. With the impact it has had on it watchers apparent in the flurry of reactions over all social media, How I Met Your Mother remains a souvenir from the past, or the very in fashion 2000s these days.
