Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have since day one taken it upon themselves to be the representation of all things lovey-dovey. In the British family that was notoriously picky for whatever it chose to give away, things and moments, the Sussexes were truly a special couple. This unconventional approach to royal life did not sit well with everyone and ultimately led the Duke and Duchess to give the most significant proof of their love as they moved across the pond to support one another, leaving behind Prince Harry’s family.

In the United States, the Sussexes have started a whole new life. However, it so happens that starting a new family does not really make you forget the old one and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bearing proof of it.

Prince Harry is allegedly still craving his old life despite having Meghan Markle by his side

While their exit has popularly come to be known as ‘Megxit’ signifying the pivotal role that Meghan Markle had played, it was actually Prince Harry who broke from his shell and paved a path for his own. Most recently, the Duke of Sussex was basking in the success of what is considered his greatest legacy: the Invictus Games. But despite the success and the support of his wife, according to a royal expert’s statements to OK! Magazine, Prince Harry still “longs” for his old life.

His fans back home have always stressed how the move from the United Kindom to the United States had been more favorable for Meghan Markle, who already had a respectable amount of supporters and friends in the country. However, Prince Harry had to leave his exorbitant life as a Prince and move to the States with only his wife. To make matters worse, not only did the Spare author lose his friends, but also his family.

According to the expert, Meghan Markle is “frustrated” about the fact that Prince Harry cannot move on from his old life. This only further signifies what many have already held the Duchess of Sussex guilty of.

Is the Duchess of Sussex keeping the Duke away from his family?

A narrative far more popular than any other in the ongoing battle of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle vs. Royal family is that the Duchess of Sussex is the one benefitting most from the rift. Many netizens believe that even if there was hope for the Duke to reconcile with his father and brother, Markle would not want it to happen. It is unclear as to how much of this is true, but it is important to note that Prince Harry too has not made any moves to reconcile with his family.

The Duke was also the one to publish a memoir that talked in depth about the damages inflicted upon him by the royal family. One such incident from the memoir consisted of the Duke stating how Prince William had allegedly physically attacked him. Therefore, if his memoir is anything to go by, it is unlikely that Prince Harry is looking for ways to go back to his old life.
