Nicola Coughlan is an amazing actress. We got to see her comedic side in the
hilarious political satire of Derry Girls. But in Bridgerton we see Nicola
Coughlan in a totally different avatar than ever before. All those who have
watched season one of the show know how big of a secret Nicola carries
throughout the whole season.

But in the newest Bridgerton season 2, all things are out in the open. And it
was really fun to watch Penelope make her way through it. Recently Nicola talked
about the new season and her perception of women in modern society. Let us see

NICOLA COUGHLAN FROM BRIDGERTON

All Bridgerton fans know that in season one it was Nicola’s character
Penelope who was spilling all the beans while under the pseudonym of Lady
Whistledown.

So while talking about being the gossip queen of the show, Coughlan said that it
was really exciting when in season one only she knew that secret and had to keep
it safe. But now in season two she really liked how now that everyone knows
about the big reveal. And there are a lot of consequences and side stories to be
