The Bubble by Netflix was apparently inspired by the filming of Jurassic World: Dominion, which took place in the UK last year under tight COVID guidelines.
So the film explores narcissistic actors who develop influenza. The actors rapidly get tired of being imprisoned in the hotel. Taking over a helicopter on the hotel grounds, playing with TikTok, and generally vomiting all over the set.
The Bubble also has a star-studded ensemble, including Keegan Michael-Key, David Duchovny, Pedro Pascal, Maria Bakalova, Fred Armisen, Peter Serafinowicz, and Karen Gillan, Leslie Mann, and others.
The movie is one day old as it started streaming on Netflix on April 1st. So it is time to look at the reviews the film is receiving.
The Bubble Reviews
The film seems not to be doing so well among the critics as they feel like the film just packs in a lot of unfunny moments. However, just because the critics have hard comments for it does not mean the fans do too.
In fact, people are loving the absolute chaos that the film is. Fans love the bizarre comedy the film serves and the great cast it has. Some of the tweets showing their appreciation are
.@JuddApatow knocked it out of the park with #TheBubble. It's hilarious, ridiculous, and downright entertaining from start to finish. I really, really love this cast lineup. As you're watching the movie, it genuinely feels like everyone had so much fun making it. pic.twitter.com/BE5tSMhKRI

So far I'm loving the movie "The Bubble" on Netflix. The only reason it's got bad reviews is because it's about a movie being made during the covid-19 pandemic. The people giving it a bad review have no sense of humor. Just ignore the reviews & enjoy. #TheBubble @netflix
