Ginny and Georgia Season 2: Check Latest Updates and What to Expect?
Ginny and Georgia Season 1 was a wild ride. It had everything from love triangles to murder and embezzlement. The series did not shy away from discussing sensitive issues such as race, identity, and sexuality. Given how season 1 ended, the audience was eager for season 2, and Netflix delivered when it announced Ginny and Georgia will return for season 2 in April 2021.
It began filming the second season in November 2021 and will return in late 2022 with more chaos and Miller family drama. There is no word on a release date, but there will be ten one-hour episodes. We’ll alert everyone as soon as Netflix releases a trailer but as of now, there has been no trailer for season 2. We have seen an announcement clip in which the cast announces the news.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 cast
As per the announcement video, we can safely assume that these cast members will return for season 2- La Torraca as Austin, Raymond Ablack as Joe, Sara Waisglass as Maxine, Felix Mallard as Marcus, Scott Porter as Paul, Jennifer Robertson as Ellen
Aaron Ashmore was announced as joining the cast for season 2 in January 2022.

“We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown ‘Ginny & Georgia,” creator Debra J. Fisher said in a statement, per Variety. “We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for Season 2.”

Antonia Gentry stated in an interview with ELLE, “I want to see Ginny get down and dirty. I want to see her turn into Georgia a little bit. I want to see her really dig in and show that mean streak I know she has. That would be really fun to explore.”
What to expect from season 2?

The second season will begin with the discovery of Ginny’s last resting place and the effects on the mother-daughter’s relationship as a result of the revelation that her mother is a killer. Ginny’s relationship with Marcus will strengthen in the second season as she deals with life’s unexpected twists and turns. Georgia and Paul’s relationship will develop further. The season two finale also hinted at the return of Austin’s father, who will reportedly be played by Aaron Ashmore.
